Arkansas Divorce Forms & PapersThe spouse who files the divorce must reside in the state for 60 days and for 3 months before a divorce will be finalized. The divorce must be filed in the county of the plaintiff. If the plaintiff is a nonresident of Arkansas, the divorce may be filed for in the county where the defendant resides.
